The TALKS are held at the Baptist Church, Sherwood Avenue, The Quadrant, Marshalswick  AL4 9QL at 7.30pm.  The visitor’s fee is £3.

Monday 2rd October 2017    ‘How to get the best out of your Roses’ by Ian Limmer

Ian is from Beales Roses in Norfolk. He will give a demonstration on pruning roses, and his talk covers the different types of roses, and how to create wonderful displays to liven up your garden. Not to be missed!

Monday 6th November 2017    ‘Plant based Medicines: the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly’ by Professor Graham Foster

A Garden Fellow at the Royal College of Physicians. Sure to be an interesting and informative talk.

Monday 4th December 2017    ‘Colour in the Garden’ by Andrew Sankey

Colour Schemes, coloured borders, the use of repeat planting to create continuity in borders. Hot spots and cool corners. The colours best for dry sites and north borders. Illustrated with slides.

Monday 5th  February 2018 ‘Pesto Genovese from Seed to Plate’ by Paolo Arrigo

As requested by many of you, we are having a return visit from Paolo who will be bringing his ‘Franchi Seeds of Italy’ to sell which were so popular last time. We are sure that it will be a very interesting and entertaining evening.

Monday 5th March 2018     ‘Golden Rules of Gardening’ by Adam Pasco

Adam Pasco is a well known presenter of radio and television programmes, so many of you will be familiar with him already. This talk is an interesting viewpoint on gardening and full of helpful ideas.
